Band Celtic Music

Celtic Borders by Aidan Meehan,

Celtic Borders by Aidan Meehan,
Borders are a natural development of Celtic patterns, whereby an abstract or animal pattern may be repeated to fill a band or frame a panel. In this, his latest book, Aidan Meehan shows how to create a variety of rectangular Celtic borders, based upon a simple square-grid. The borders are proportioned to fit a standard letter-size page, but are equally suited for stationery or illuminated pages, and are readily adaptable to any number of craft applications. Aidan Meehan studied Celtic art in Ireland and Scotland and has spent the last two decades playing a leading role in the renaissance of this authentic tradition. He has given workshops, demonstrations, and lectures in America and Europe, and is the author of the best-selling Celtic Design series, published by Thames and Hudson.
